Now that Christmas is approaching and all you can hear on the radio is “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer”, it’s high time for a blog carnival. Along with fighting at the mall and wrapping presents, Christmas usually means participating in a Cookie Exchange.
For the uninitiated in the house, a Cookie Exchange is a social event that consists of baking at least 10 dozen cookies and then swapping a dozen at a time with 10 other people. At the end of the event you walk away with 10 dozen different types of cookies as well as 10 dozen cookie recipes. Sweet, huh?
But as you know, baking 120 cookies is time consuming, so that’s why we’re going virtual, baby!
The Rules
There aren’t many.
1. Share your favorite cookie recipe on your own blog,
2. place the blog carnival graphic somewhere in that post,
3. then come back here to submit your link.
The Twist
This is not your mother’s Cookie Exchange, pal. Once the blog carnival closes on Thursday, December 15, we will assemble a cookbook in a pdf file with all of the participant’s recipes plus a link back to each person’s blog.
Don’t forget to come back on Friday, December 16 to download your free cookbook!

After you write your post, use the form below to link up with the rest of the participants. Be sure to visit — and comment on — all of the other Christmas Cookie Blog Carnival posts.
